My Beautiful Easter Baby

My MIL was very thoughtful and got pictures of Vivian for Easter/Mothers Day. I think they turned out pretty good. It was very hard to find favorites. All pictures of your own baby are great! She was flanked by two live bunnies in the original picture. I thought that this cropped/zoomed would make a good 8x10.

A Day at the Lake

What a beautiful weekend. Three generations went for a stroll across the Lake Murray Dam. It was very crowded that Sunday afternoon, but it was worth it for the view. If you live in the Columbia area you gotta try this.

Jenny got Hitched

My closest cousin got married this weekend. It was a beautiful wedding with lots of good luck in the form of rain drops!. I love my cousin and with her and Rob a lifetime of happiness!

Current Obsession: Chocolate!

"I heard a story on NPR" about Chocolate and it's current properties, it's Aztec origins and history. It got me thinking about how much I really love a "good chocolate". Not, the mass produced stuff, but the really deep intense flavor of an artisan chocolate. While researching I found a really neat flow chart on the production of chocolate from the Grenada Chocolate company. I love that they use solar power energy to produce their organic chocolate. I plan on making a big fancy chocolate order once the tax refund rolls in this year!!
